These paintings are done entirely in acrylics so far. the challenges have been with the smaller beach scene. the small figures are difficult to work with on the textured canvas panel. In the future I plan to work only on smooth surfaces for small works.
I also find it hard to freely mix and having to work out saturation and value issues. This shows most with the beach study.
I am pleased with the detail going into the car painting. I will explore more compositions of automobiles on the maps, exploring brand names, model names and relationships between business, culture, psychology, cars and ecology.
